Non-touring Is The Latest Beauty Trend Loved By Gigi Hadid

De Wikifliping

Forget contouring, strobing and baking: there's a new trend in makeup that's been described as 'Spanx for the skin'.
It's a backlash from the heavily contoured and highlighted trend of the past year, which have focused on lots of products and layers of makeup.
Instead non-touring is focused on subtle and natural makeup that seeks to highlight your skin rather than mask it.

Fresh: Non-touring is the latest makeup trend that celebrities are taking up as a backlash to heavy contouring
Girl next door: Non-touring is all about fresh, light, dewy skin that looks natural and not heavy contouring or strobing
Bright: The trend is a favourite with celebrities like Gigi Hadid (above), Kendall Jenner and Blake Lively
WHAT IS CONTOURING, STROBING AND BAKING?  CONTOURING uses a matte bronzer to carve shape into your face and make it look thinner and more symmetricalSTROBING is using a very obvious shimmery highlight to make your cheekbones look like a disco ballBAKING is using a translucent powder to sit on your foundation for 10 minutes before brushing it off to set your makeup and get a flawless finish Non-touring doesn't use the layers of heavy foundation, blush and bronzer that other looks have and instead just requires tinted moisturiser and a good natural highlighter.
The look was seen at recent Chloe and Balmain runway shows, and is much softer than the previous heavily done up looks.
Lately celebrities like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have also been sporting the trend, which is designed to look like you're barely wearing any makeup at all.
It's a girl-next-door look that is approachable, summery and natural and perfect for daytime outings where contouring can seem too full on.

Less fuss: Contouring uses many layers of matte products but non-touring is all about a low maintenance look
Celebrity makeup artist Renee Sanganoo told that the look is all about being dewy and glowy, blending in to your natural skin.
'It's kind of like Spanx for the skin,' she said. 'You know you're wearing it, but no one's supposed to see it.'
It's a big step back from the matte makeup trends in recent years, where everything from foundation to lipstick was all about moving away from shine.
Blonde babe: Celebrities like Blake Lively (above) have mastered the non-touring look which is about natural and glowy skin
Bright and fun: Non-touring only uses three products: primer, tinted moisturiser and highlighter
Three steps: Just prime your skin, apply the tinted moisturiser and highlight the high points of the skin
The best bit is that it's a very low maintenance look, with only three skin products needed: a primer, tinted moisturiser and highlighter.
Simply prime your skin with a good moisturising primer and let it skin in. Next, apply a dewy tinted moisturiser all over the face. Finally apply a soft highlighter to your cheekbones, brow bone and nose and you're done.
Whilst it might take up a while to give up our contouring kits for nights out, we're excited for the shift in makeup. And if it's good enough for Gigi, it's good enough for us!
