Greece views gas as a transition fuel as it ramps up renewables and says the shift in its strategy, following the war in Ukraine, will not undermine its plan to boost green energy and cut carbon emissions by 55% by 2030 in line with European Union climate change targets.

LONDON, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Rival semiconductor best day trips from Meteora giants ARM and Intel have agreed to work together to manage networks of connected devices from both firms, clearing a major stumbling block to market growth of the so-called Internet of Things (IoT).

In April, Energean, the country's sole oil producer so far, announced test drilling at the onshore block in the northwestern area of Ioannina in 2023, the first such drilling in the country in 22 years.

But the fossil fuel industry worldwide has been making the case for the continued use of hydrocarbons as a means to address the energy and taxi from Meteora to delphi economic crisis caused by the Ukraine war and to create wealth.

"We see a significant acceleration in terms of how the market will grow in terms of the number of managed devices and the volume of data that moves through these systems," Himagiri Mukkamala, an ARM senior vice president and general manager for its IoT Cloud Services division, told Reuters in an interview.

Most of the world's biggest suppliers of IoT chips rely on low-power ARM designs, including NXP, Renesas and Microchip's Atmel, while Intel, known for its powerful data-crunching processors, dominates the cloud data centre market, where IoT data are analysed and processed, Gartner analyst Bill Ray said.

(Reporting by Eric Auchard in London; editing by Jason Neely) ARM's recently introduced Pelion transport IoT management platform will rely on Intel's Secure Device Onboard specifications announced a year ago.
This will allow customers using IoT chips based on either company's products to manage them in the same system, taxi price Pelion to airport executives at the two companies said in separate blog posts.

The EU proposal came under fire from countries in favour of a gas price cap to reduce citizens' high energy bills - with Poland's energy minister calling the proposal "a joke" and transportation in greece Meteora analysts suggesting it was designed with such strict criteria that it would never be used.

After months of infighting among EU countries who disagree on whether to cap energy costs, the European Commission last week proposed a price cap that would kick in if the front-month Title Transfer Facility gas price exceeded 275 euros per megawatt-hour for two weeks and Pelion greece taxi prices was 58 euros higher than a liquefied natural gas reference price for 10 days.

This week Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the initiation of seismic surveys to locate potential natural gas reserves in two offshore blocks southwest of Greece's Peloponnese peninsula and the island of Crete.

While environmental campaigners are pushing for a shift to zero-carbon fuel, Greece is among the countries that says the disruption of Russian energy supplies as a result of the Ukraine war is reason to increase hydrocarbons exploration.

EU gas prices have soared this year as Russia slashed gas deliveries to Europe following its invasion of Ukraine, although even a record-breaking price spike in August would not have triggered the EU's proposed cap.

But gas price caps have split the 27-country bloc.
While Italy, Spain, Belgium, Malta and Greece criticised the proposed cap for being too high or unlikely to ever kick in, countries including Germany and the Netherlands are sceptical of capping gas prices - warning that this could deter suppliers from sending much-needed gas to Europe.

Britain's ARM, private taxi Pelion greece a unit of Japan's Softbank Corp, best day trips from Pelion said on Monday it had struck a strategic partnership with Intel to use common standards developed by Intel for managing IoT devices, connections and data.

BRUSSELS, Nov 30 (Reuters) - The European Union's energy chief on Wednesday defended the bloc's proposal to cap gas prices and best day trips from Meteora said countries will negotiate possible changes to the proposal, after a backlash from EU member states.
