Mum Was Slammed For Wanting Her Kids To Sleep On A Flight To Bali

A mum has been slammed after asking advice about using a banned product in a desperate bid to help her children sleep on a flight to Bali.
Jodie Candice took to a Bali Bogans social media page on Friday saying she was 'tempted' to sneak a Kooshy Kids inflatable cushion onto a Jetstar flight despite its 'ridiculous' ban.
The popular cushions can be propped up in the gap between a seat and food tray for kids to stretch their legs out on during long-haul flights.
But they were banned by and Jetstar in 2017 amid fears the items would be an evacuation hazard during an emergency.
'Travel. Kooshy kids - has anyone managed to use one of these on Jetstar? I know they've banned (ridiculous) it but I'm tempted to still get one and inflate mid flight,' she wrote.

'Why would you use them if you know they're banned,' one asked bluntly, while another commenter took issue with the cushion causing possible safety hazards.

'All safety devices are stored under the seat and God forbid something happened and a much needed foot stool delayed the application of a lifejacket etc,' she said in a scathing spray.
'I have children and had to fly overnight with them and I have also been on a flight with a screaming child.'
'That's life get use to it. Can't always get what you want,' a third said.
Other brands on the market that help kids rest on aircraft include Flytot cushion, Jet Kids BedBox and Plane Pal.
Virgin Australia welcomed these devices for 'happy tots' on its flights but Jetstar and Qantas banned them.

Virgin said 'kids sleeping devices' are included in a passenger's 7kg of carry-on luggage.
They can be used as long as they are placed at the window seats only in all Boeing 737s or smaller aircraft.
Children have to be secured in their seats, while the items must not affect the comfort of other passengers.
The Kooshy Kids Kooshion website said there are more than 60 airlines across the world that allow the items, including Etihad Airways, Japan Airlines and Virgin Australia.
Ms Candice, Jetstar and Qantas were contacted by Daily Mail Australia for comment.
