'This is pure nonsense from Zinchenko!' added another supporter, while a third said: 'Zinchenko is pathetic.'
The Ukrainian spent seven years at City, making well over 100 appearances for the club before moving on last summer.
He cost Arsenal £30million, and was regularly seen expressing his emotions on the field of play, particularly after a defeat.
Not all Gunners fans, meanwhile, were critical of the 26-year-old, with some supporters understanding the congratulations message.
