The central property market boomed in 2022, with 'effectively one billionaire buyer a week' snapping up some of the nation's most exclusive homes.
Plenty of the biggest spenders were foreign investors, including a Swiss billionaire and Turkish e-commerce tycoon.
In total, 52 sales of £15 million or above amounted to £1.5 billion worth of real estate changing hands last year.
Beauchamp Estates founding director Gary Hersham told up to half of this year's big-money sales were American buyers capitalising on the US dollar's strength in comparison to the unpredictable sterling.

Knightsbridge Victorian mansion, £27 millionHanzade Dogan Boyner purchased the six-bedroom mansion in Knightsbridge in the summer, according to the publication.
The Turkish businesswoman is widely considered one of the most successful female tech entrepreneurs after founding Hepsiburada, also commonly referred to as 'the Amazon of the East'.
