This week the East Sussex club held a 90-minute webinar via video app Zoom, with chief executive Paul Barber explaining: 'During this period we've been very conscious of it.'

'Being in this cooped-up environment for a long time is difficult for anyone, and for professional athletes used to being out on the grass and fresh air it's even tougher.
'For our own staff, we held a webinar, microsoft-specialist oobe (just click the following post) a Zoom conference on Monday with a number of sessions on their mental wellbeing in this period.
'We had an external speaker who was able to deliver a great seminar from his study at home in the north of England.

He gave the staff a few coping mechanisms to deal with this situation and what they might be going through.
'I joined in and it was a really good 90 minutes invested in the day because there were a couple of things that came out of that.'

On the business side, club executives in England are also concerned about the prices of players plummeting due to this pandemic.

Asked how much a player previously valued at £10million might be worth now to clubs, Barber said: 'One thing that is impossible to do is to second-guess the market.
'It's a very difficult question to answer.

Do I think the market will be effected by what's happening? Yes I do. Do I think it will be effected for a long time to come? I don't know.
'I can certainly see it being effected for a couple of windows.'
