Married At First Sight star Ryan Gallagher has called out the influencer marketing industry after a high-profile Aussie was handed a lucrative sponsorship just six months after they were embroiled in a white powder scandal.
While Gallagher, 34, didn't name the person who scored the big-money deal, some social media users speculated he was referring to AFL player Bailey Smith.
The Bulldogs star, 22, was handed a two-match suspension June 2022 after photos and video surfaced of him with a white substance.
Smith, who has a cult following on social media thanks to his signature mullet and bit.ly ripped physique, is now being featured in an advertising campaign for McDonald's.

The collaboration did not sit well with Gallagher, who said it represented everything wrong with influencer marketing.
'This whole industry is just arse-up,' he wrote on Instagram.
'How someone can go from being caught six months ago [in a white powder scandal] to now doing McDonald's ads? I think Macca's has this wrong.'

'Bailey is a young man who has faced many challenges and pressures off the field in recent times which he has spoken of extensively. He endured a particularly difficult time towards the end of last year that ultimately led to time away from football.
'While this clearly does not excuse his behaviour, it is our responsibility as a club to ensure we have supported, and we continue to support, Bailey's health and wellbeing,' said Bains.
For his part, Smith was keen to own the behaviour, and consequences that come with it, and become a better person.
'In confronting this, the temptation is to speak in vague generalities and avoid the issue. However, I am determined to learn the lessons of my past and be a better person in the future,' he said.
'After much reflection, I am now in a position to confess to indulging in behaviours in late 2021 of which I am deeply ashamed.
'I do not have an excuse for those behaviours, however the state of my mental health over that period post Grand Final dramatically deteriorated, and I spiralled out of control leading to poor decision making and actions at the time.
'I have made mistakes. I am very aware of that, and I fully own it.'
After that period, Smith took time away from the game for mental health reasons.
