MAFS Star Rents Out Room After Catching Fiance Sending Flirty Texts

MAFS star is renting out a vacant room in her  apartment less than a day after she busted her fiancé sending flirty texts to one of her friends.
The $350-per-week listing appears to confirm her long-term partner Dean Gibbs is no longer living with her after she discovered he had planned private catch-ups with blonde hairdresser Maria Pepi.
Maitland posted a series of photos on Instagram of the room and ensuite, which she captioned: 'ROOM FOR RENT $350 week Gold Coast - Palm Beach.'

Maitland leaked a series of texts on Sunday that allegedly showed Gibbs, a disgraced former Victoria Police officer-turned-plumber, planning to meet up with Pepi at the beach for a coffee and swim.
She posted the DMs on Instagram, then called Gibbs and Pepi 'dogs' and said she 'hopes the sharks get these two' next time they go to the beach together.

Maitland's angry reaction suggests Gibbs may not have told her he was catching up with one of her mates. Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting any infidelity took place.
He also appears to have tried to conceal the texts on his phone by saving Pepi under a man's name, 'Andrew Galata - Burleigh.' However, Maitland was allegedly able to prove he was texting her friend by cross-refencing the number for Pepi on Gibbs' phone with Pepi's number in her own contacts.

'Or do you wanna do it in comfort with a warm coffee?'

'That means it's official. Hopefully you get caught in a rip so I can rescue you,' Gibbs joked to the glamorous blonde.

'Hahaha omg I'd be so scared, shark bait,' Pepi wrote, adding a string of laughing emojis.

'You better rescue me lol,' she added.
Maitland wrote over the text messages: 'DOGS! @_gibbsy @misspepix...'
The former MAFS bride added: Sooooo much more! I'm just getting started... Hope the sharks get these two next swim.'
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Maitland, Gibbs and Pepi for comment.

His mother Karen told Daily Mail Australia in March 2017 her son had worked hard to build a new life for himself ever since he narrowly avoided jail.
'That is all in the past… he's moved on from all of that,' she said of his criminal conviction.
Almost a decade ago, ex-cop Gibbs was handed a one-year suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to trafficking and using cocaine, as well as possessing steroids and ecstasy .
