Woman 33 Jumps To Her Death From Manhattan Hotel Rooftop Bar

A woman jumped and fell 140 feet to her death from a Manhattan hotel rooftop bar after leaving a note with her family's contact details with employees.
Marodelle Prin, 33, jumped from a ledge in the Bookmarks Lounge at the Library Hotel in Midtown shortly after midnight, a police spokesman told Daily Mail Online.
She ate and had two drinks but her card was declined when she tried to pay for her meal, the  reports.
The woman, who is Filipino, wrote the names of two relatives to contact following her death on a piece of paper.

Prin's family has been notified of her death, the spokesman told Daily Mail Online.
The spokesman said she was intoxicated when she used a chair to climb onto the ledge on the 14th floor of the building.

The woman, of Queens, New York, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where she was ist wichteln pronounced dead on arrival. 
The Library Hotel is a book-themed boutique hotel, located a stone's throw from New York landmarks including Grand Central Terminal and Fifth Avenue.
The Bookmark Lounge is billed as an 'intimate rooftop bar offering literary inspired cocktails with city views.' 
In a statement to Daily Mail Online, a spokesman for the Library Hotel Collection said: 'We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that took place at our hotel last night. 
'Our guests safety and well-being is our number one priority, and our team is fully cooperating with the local officials.'
